Roger Force FRPS DPAGB APAGB
At the recent KCPA EC meeting it was announced that Roger Force had decided to retire from membership and Chairmanship of the Judges Panel with immediate effect.
His decision was dictated by increasingly poor health and mobility problems for himself and his wife, Jenny.
This decision cannot have been easy for Roger who has devoted much of his time to the KCPA, from its inception to date.
He was closely involved with planning for this new federation when the Central Association was disbanded many years ago. Together with other luminaries he wrote the constitution gathered a group of experienced judges together to be the backbone of competition and created the competition structure to help the fledgling federation start.
Apart from the competitive structure, Roger served as our President with great distinction. In this regard he also achieved Distinction success within the PAGB and Associateship for services to Photography and Fellowship of the Royal Photographic Society. To mark his undoubted service to the KCPA he was made an Honorary Life Vice President. When circumstances demanded he volunteered to take on the role of Chairman of the Judges Panel.
Roger has done all and more that can be asked of him and retires with the grateful thanks of members of every club within the KCPA.
On behalf of those club members, the Executive Committee offers a BIG THANKYOU, and wishes improved health to Roger and his wife Jenny
