PAGB Inter Fed 2021
PAGB Inter Federation Competition 2021:
The Inter-Federation Competition is held each June. Federations submit entries from the members of their affiliated Clubs in four Categories – Monochrome Prints, Colour Prints, Nature Prints and Open Projected. Trophies are awarded to the winning Federations. PAGB medals and ribbons are awarded to individual images in each Category. This year due to Covid regulations only the Projected image categories were allowed, there were no printed images.
It was from the list of accepted KCPA PDI Exhibition images that I asked 3 of our top Premier Judges to help select our KCPA entry for the PAGB Inter Fed Open Digital and Nature exhibition. 30 images were chosen to be entered into the Open category and another 30 to be entered into the Nature category. With thanks to our selectors Chris Shore, Clive Tanner, and Kirsty Ralfs.
Individual image scores have gone out to the photographers who allowed us to enter their image(s) into the competition.
KCPA came 12th in the Open Digital section and 13th in the Nature Digital section.
The competition was judged on Sunday 6th June 2021 by Christine Widdall MPAGB EFIAP FBPE, David Gibbins ARPS EFIAP/b BPE5 APAGB and Rod Wheelans FRPS MPAGB MFIAP FIPF HonPAGB.
As soon as information was received from the PAGB invites were sent out to 36 of our members that had an image(s) entered and 18 of them attended the online Zoom event to listen to the proceedings. It was great to see so many KCPA Club members I recognised online, I do hope you enjoyed the event.
