The members of SPECTRUM PHOTO ART are disappointed that we cannot welcome you to our planned Exhibition at Denbies Wine Estate Gallery this year. Instead we have a small virtual exhibition on our website.
The Exhibition gallery can be found, along with our recently updated individual galleries, at https://www.spectrumphotoart.co.uk/all-photographs.
Many of you will be aware of our signature ‘colour wall’. Click ‘Exhibition’ to find ‘Oranges and Lemons’ or go to https://www.spectrumphotoart.co.uk/exhibitions.
Our next Exhibition is booked for 21 June – 4 July 2021, also at Denbies Wine Estate Gallery near Dorking. We hope to be able to welcome you there and plan a ‘Meet the Photographers’ session as usual. Details will be circulated in June 2021.

The Whitstable Photographic Group (WPG) has partnered with the Horsebridge Arts Centre to display a collection of the WPG’s prints in its show windows from 20 August – 2 September. The pictures in this free exhibition range from detailed pictures of local fauna and flora to stunning images of well-known landmarks and even fantastical landscapes, all displaying the range of local photographic talent. The WPG is extremely grateful to the Horsebridge for the opportunity to display its print work following the cancellation of its annual summer exhibition in the Harbour Church due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. So don’t miss this feast for the eyes!
Melvyn Crow, Chair of the WPG said:
‘The Whitstable Photographic Group’s aim is to encourage photography locally and to help our members to improve their pictures. The group includes photographers of all abilities from in and around Whitstable. Most of our members use digital technology including mobile phone cameras, but we do have some who still use traditional film. We welcome the use of both media so whether you use traditional or digital equipment, or a mixture of both, you will find beginners and experienced members among us to support your development. We have a varied programme during the winter months and outdoor meetings in the summer. We hope this exhibition will give you an idea of our activities and that you might decide to join us. We look forward to welcoming you!’
Prints on display include “Moving Day” by Kirsty Ralfs ARPS QGP
